Berlin Raceway Challenge
From its humble dirt track beginnings, Berlin Raceway, a 7/16 mile paved oval, has grown into one of the premier short tracks in America. Berlin has packed in thousands of race fans a year for 50 years. In 2004, this Michigan-based company approached The Iona Group with a unique challenge: provide a potential new revenue stream for the track while strengthening the connection between the track and its fans.
How Iona Helped
The Iona Group stepped in with a powerful and engaging solution. Our Saveractive Screensaver software was tailor made for the active messaging needed by Berlin. Working from the ground up, The Iona Group created a fast-paced engaging animated screensaver that not only downloaded sponsorship logos and ticket purchasing links, but also listed the recent track winners as well as other racing headlines supplied by an outside new source.
Connection Made
The fans reaction was noticeable. Announced at racing events throughout the season, thousands of users installed the software and kept tabs on the upcoming events. The client contact was so impressed by the Saveractive technology that they would later use The Iona Group to produce a unique screensaver for the Daytona International Speedway.
