Worth Sports Challenge

Worth Sports needed a new website to match branding materials that emphasized their new aggressive look and their new branding statement “Performance Through Technology.” The site needed several hundred product listings needing to be entered into a database, preexisting legacy server side scripts that needed to be migrated to the new site and a need for advanced Flash design and animation to showcase their technology and products.

How Iona Helped

The Iona Group worked with Worth to create database schema, proposed suggestions for creating scalable XHTML and CSS designs for the product catalog, did troubleshooting for the legacy script installations and eventually tied the designs to the MySQL database. The project involved creating and designing an extensive Flash site devoted to the Worth technology using Flash Video and advanced animation techniques.

Worth Sports is reaping the rewards of a more searchable, usable site that incorporates the scalability and ease of maintenance they need to be competitive in the fast paced world of sporting goods.
