Chad Udell, Iona’s lead Internet architect, was interviewed recently for a local news broadcast on WHOI. Chad spoke about how “mash-ups” on the web are allowing people to access readily available data in new ways that provide value to a visitor. Chad gave examples such as how Google Maps and publicly accessible data allowed developers to create mash-ups that allow a visitor to see availability of electronics gear or presence of potential dangers in their neighborhood.
